RateUs - is it for you?

This is a checklist for organisations thinking of purchasing RateUs, it can help you decide if the system is appropriate and relevant for you. The questions are listed in two sections - essential and desirable. You need to be able to answer 'Yes' to all the essential questions and 'Yes' to as many of the desirable questions as possible

Each customer or client is receiving (or periodically receives) an agreed service from you over a period of time. This is not fixed but would normally be for at least 6 months.

Any service you provide is agreed with the customer or client, either informally or as part of a written contact or plan.

You are willing to commit your management and staff to using the system on an ongoing basis and make customer focused service evaluation a central part of your management and personnel systems.

You are committed to listening to your customers or clients and want to promote continuous improvement within your organisation.
Yes?
If you support people who have difficulties communicating effectively, you are willing to promote advocacy or other systems that assist the individual to rate the service they are receiving.

DESIRABLE
You want to be able to benchmark the services you offer, both internally within your organisation and externally with other organisations.

You want a system that will provide evidence to regulators and other inspectorates of outcomes to customers or clients.
